Taken collectively any insult to the spine can cause compression to the neural structures, instability of its architecture, deformity in morphology or a combination of the above. The following are the logical means of addressing these pathologies.

It should be comforting to note that many spine problems respond well to conservative management. In many ways than one, we would exhaust all means of conservative management. Surgery becomes a consideration when the latter has failed. Sometimes we can still resort to some interventional procedures before surgery is finally contemplated.
